Reverend Bobby A. Bowser is the Pastor of the Mount Lebanon Baptist, Norfolk, VA where he has pastored for 17 years. He is the son of the late William F. and Doris Bowser, Sr. of Smithfield, Virginia.
He graduated from Smithfield High School and went on to receive a diploma in Computer Programming from Virginia Computer College in Reston, Virginia. He later received a Certificate in Church Ministry from Virginia University of Lynchburg, Virginia, a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Saint Paul’s College of Lawrenceville, Virginia and a Master of Divinity degree from Virginia University of Lynchburg, Virginia.
On November 25, 2001 Rev. Bowser was licensed to preach by Rev. Charles E. Beard at First Gravel Hill Baptist Church, Smithfield, Virginia where he was later ordained in July 2005.
Rev. Bowser is a member of the Isle of Wight Planning Commission, member of the Isle of Wight Christian Outreach Program, member of Metro Ministers Conference, member of Norfolk Middletown Lions Club and former member of the Rushmere Volunteer Fire Department.
Rev. Bowser is married to the former Diane Walker of Smithfield where they still reside. They are the proud parents of two daughters Kristy Buggs and Amber White, and the proud grandparents of three grandchildren.
He is a Great Pastor, a Gospel Preacher, a Teacher, a Mentor, a Confidant and a Good Friend. Most of all he is one of God’s Servants. To God Be The Glory
